The combination of Authentic Handwashing with compressed air dusting and underwater agitation results in a rug or carpet that is thoroughly clean.
Our cleaning process is respectful of the natural fibers used in quality and investment rugs. It is a safe and gentle method to clean natural fibers including wool, cotton and blended fiber rugs.
The system is fascinating, efficient and effective.
After inspection and several tests to determine the details of colorfastness and fiber type, your rug will start with a dusting treatment.
Dry soil and particulate are completely dislodged from the rug using the "compressed air treatment" called dusting. The rug is then sent for a "wash treatment" in a disinfectant bath useful for sanitizing, disinfecting and deodorizing.
In the "wash treatment" the rug is completely submersed in water and a gently Jacuzzi like agitation ensues.
The "air- rinse treatment" is next; as compressed air is introduced, all cleaning agents and residual soils are removed and alas, the rug is cleaned all the way through!
Efficient dry time is critical.
Rugs are dried in our climate controlled drying room; temperature and humidity are controlled to expedite the "drying treatment."
The Finishing Details include handwashing fringes, final grooming and application ofTeflon Fabric Protector.
